“The Kitty” is an animated short based on two old blues songs, Howlin’ Wolf’s “I Asked for Water” and John Lee Hooker’s “Don’t Look Back”. I tried to play off of the very opposing feel of each song, one hopeless, and one hopeful…… I swear I’m not this depressing in real life.
